Urban Sketching at Chiswick Pier

September 30th – part of Totally Thames Festival

On Saturday, September 30th Chiswick Pier Trust (CPT) throws open its doors at The Pier House to anyone who would like to join the Urban Sketchers (USk) London group in drawing the riverside between Chiswick Eyot and Barnes Rail Bridge. The Pier House will be open from 10.30am providing shelter, seating and access to toilets throughout the event. Refreshments will be available from the fantastic Forge & Orchard coffee bike.

Simply bring your own materials and join participants at 11am for a brief welcome before heading off to choose a view to sketch, meeting up again at 1pm at The Pier House for a ‘throwdown’ where everyone can share and view drawings. An afternoon session for sketching follows, ending at 3.30pm when a final ‘throwdown’ takes place again at The Pier House. An informal post-sketch drink is provisionally planned for the White Hart pub on Barnes riverside.

If you would like to take part or find out more about Urban Sketching, please register here to receive free online support materials, which will be sent out in September:
