How London’s Docks are Thriving Again – 7pm Tuesday, April 16th

Discover the diverse communities inhabiting London’s Docklands today, photographer Niki Gorick presents talks about her work capturing Dockland’s life through the lens.

Forty years ago, London’s Docklands had become 6,000 acres of forgotten wasteland after over a century as the busiest port in the world. Now these once-derelict docks are again filled with ships and boats, forming homes and businesses for fascinating people. Niki’s talk promises to take you on a journey with her behind the lens over the years – from her love of cameras and the river, to the tricks and trials involved in setting up perfect shots.

Copies of her book Dock Life Renewed, will be available on the night.

Tickets free to CPT Members, £5 to non-members and you can book tickets for Niki’s talk here.
